Chirk boot sale to raise much needed funds Yesturday Sunday 29th April Got up at 2:30am, set of at 3:30am and arrived at Chirk for 4:35, started setting up and we were busy as soon as we got the Gazebo out, and a steady flow of customers untill we left at 12:30. We raised an amazing £143-18 after taking out the pitch rent, being a registered Charity we only paid £3 instead of £10 (Thank you to Chirk boot sale) All the Team would like to thank everyone who donated items for us to sell to raise fund also we would like to thank Steve & Louisa for all the brilliant items and their continued support. If we can get any more donated items, then we will hold another boot sale at Chirk for June. If anyone has any unwanted items and they want to donate to us please contact us, we can collect. After having no sleep last night and setting off for our Fundraising Event at Chirk Car boot at 3:15am and getting their for 4:45am, we had a brilliant morning, even thou we were restricted on the amount of items we could take, due to the new car having no roof rack and the car was loaded to the roof. We would also like to thank Denis Beardsworth (Team Member) for arriving later in the morning to help us out. We raised a total of £177-56 not bad for a mornings fundraising.
